Who Are The Bodyboarding Weekends For?
This course caters for riders that havent bodyboarded before and competent shredders and everyone in between. Our coaching team split the group in to rider ability levels so that everyone is taught as an individual. Those that have specific needs can improve paddling, wave selection, turning, spinning, rolling any moves that you would like to improve or we can look at the over all package.

Briefly the weekend is aimed at bodyboarders aged between 8 and 80 who are keen to take part in a fun weekend that will focus on improving their riding. Its a great chance to improve all aspects of your bodyboarding skills from checking the surf, to polishing your cutbacks, choosing a good trim line and nailing some lip moves. Its a great opportunity to meet like minded bodyboarders, to learn from each other, to swap gossip about spots and have a fun weekend in Newquay.

Who Will Be Coaching Us?
You'll be taught by top Bodyboard instructors from Rob Barbers Bodyboarding School and some of the event sponsors team riders. Our coaches are insured, qualified coaches that have years of experience. No problem is too big or too small. We cover everything from equipment choice, to waxing your board to air reverses! We have an unbiased opinion that will help you in every aspect of bodyboarding from buying kit to choosing a travel destination abroad. We will solve any bodyboarding related problem that you may have.

What Coaching Techniques Will You Use?
Plenty of beach work to get your head round the techniques that will help you improve quickest. Water work where we ride with you on waves, paddle with you, go through moves and break them down until you have cracked them. We also use Video analysis to identify problems and trouble shoot technique faults. We review the video using slo-mo to analyse body positioning, weight ditribution etc. When you can see for yourself you will improve almost immediately.

Do We Have To Use The Schools Equipment?
We ask you to bring your own kit if you have it or if that is difficult due to travel or you are new to the sport equipment can be supplied for no extra charge or if you have it you can use your own equipment.

What You Need
Your swimming costume, sunscreen and a towel. If you have your own wetsuit, board or fins please bring them. We recommend some warm, loose clothing that you can easily change into and out of. Thin layers and a warm, waterproof jacket are essential.
